1. The largest spider in the world is tarantulas. They can live without food for two years.

3. 98% of a jellyfish is made of water. So if you keep a jellyfish in sunlight it will evaporate.


4.  Frogs never drink water but absorb it through their moist skin. This amphibian can also breathe through their skin.


5. Worms are found in large numbers in South Africa. Some of them can reach lengths of 22 feet.

6. When seahorses mate they do it for life. And when mates travel they hold on to each other's tail.


7. Oyster can change their gender whenever they want. They do this according to the mating conditions.



8. Pandas are really huge animals. China has the largest number of pandas in the world. The interesting thing about them is that the newborn panada only weighs as much as a small cup of coffee and is smaller than a mouse.


9. Lions are considered the king of animals but the fact is that 90% of the hunting is done by lioness(females) in the family.



10.  Out of 5,000 north Atlantic lobsters, one is born bright blue. This fantastic creature is also known for their ability to regenerate legs, claws and Antennae.

13. Iguanas are really tough. They can drop to the ground from a tree as tall as 40 feet and can walk away unharmed.



14. The eye of the ostrich is bigger than its brain.



15. A newborn Chinese water deer is so tiny that you can hold it in your palm.



16. Monarch butterflies have 12 thousand eyes and it can lay more than 250 eggs a day.

24. Biophysicists have proposed the effect of magnetic fields on entangled electrons cause a biochemical reaction in avian eyes that allows birds to actually see Earth's magnetic field.



25. Some jellyfish are immortal. Turritopsis dohrnii aye an immortal jellyfish is one of several other animals who has figured out how to do it. They are able to age backwards and became young again ones they reach maturity.
